Bio
Joan grew up in the suburbs of San Francisco and first became interested in photography in high school. After earning an Engineering degree from
UC Berkeley in 2003, she moved to Brooklyn, NY hoping to learn more about life and less about the physical sciences.

She has since gained experience assisting and shooting a range of photographic disciplines including Still Life, Wedding, Celebrity, and
Fine Art.

She shoots all kinds of things, but especially cares about making compelling portraits of people.
